@SarahKatherineStengle writes about my work this month for the blog Mathematical Art and I’m just so amazed by the way she connects art and math. She came for a studio visit and I mentioned one of my all time favorite questions, which I find to be a beautiful entity all on its own, with or without an answer: how does a flower know how to become a flower? It was posed by the mathematician Alan Turing. Sarah explains it and connects math and art in an insightful and inspiring way. It’s a joy and an honor to become part of Sarah’s vision and thinking.
